The following Resort Policy has been established for your comfort and security and for the convenience of all our guests.
DEPOSIT: A 30% deposit is required by personal check or credit card. The remainder of payment is due on arrival by cash or credit card (Sorry, no personal checks for remainder of payment.) If paying balance with credit card, a 3% processing fee will apply.
CANCELLATION: We will refund your deposit, less a $25 processing fee, only if we are able to fill the canceled cabin.
Cabin rentals include:
Kitchen equipped for housekeeping with dishes, cookware, refrigerator, gas stove with oven, microwave, toaster, coffee pot.
Shared use of rowboats, paddleboats, and canoes.
Individual fire pits. Firewood is usually for sale at the resort. In the event we are out, it is available at several nearby locations.
Use of Volleyball court, horseshoe pits, basketball court, swim raft, and children's playground
During the winter months, snowmobiling from your doorstep (we are located at the intersection of the Eagle River and Sugar Camp snowmobile trails.
Cabin rentals do not include:
Bath, kitchen, or beach towels
Personals such as shampoo and soap
Paper toweling, aluminum foil
First roll of paper toweling is provided only
First kitchen and bath garbage bags are provided only
OCCUPANCY – There will be a charge of $20 per day for each guest over the normal capacity in any of the cabins. The 2-bedroom cabins (Fern and Arbutus) have a normal capacity of 4 persons. The Birchwood (3-bedroom cabin) has a normal capacity of 6 persons, and the Homestead (3-bedroom cabin) has a normal capacity of 10 persons.
CHECK-OUT - Check-out time is Saturday at 9 a.m. Depending on reservations for incoming guests, you may be able to pre-arrange a late check out. If you haven’t made late check-out arrangements and do not vacate by the check-out time, you will incur a $20 per hour charge. Additionally, if your failure to vacate interferes with the check-in of another guest, you will also be charged a fee equal to the daily rate.
Cabins should left in the same manner they were in upon arrival, i.e., no dirty dishes, litter or other abnormal cleaning should need to be done by our staff. Guests are expected to dispose of any trash in the dumpster upon departure.
LOST KEYS: $10 charge for each key not returned.
QUIET HOURS – 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Additionally, please do not expose your neighbors to excessive noise at any time.
PETS – The fee for pets is $75 per week or $10 per day, per pet. Pets must be registered upon check-in. Pets must be kept on a leash while outside the cabin. If pets are left alone, inside or outside, they must be kenneled.
TRASH – Please dispose of garbage in the dumpster located on the property. Due to wind, weather and animals, please do not dispose of trash in the outdoor trash cans located at the cabins. These cans are meant for ash, if needed, from the fire pits.
REGISTERED GUESTS – All persons staying on a site must be registered by name with the office and a fee paid if applicable.
VISITORS – If you entertain visitors at the Resort, you are responsible for their conduct while on the Resort premises and are responsible for any damages incurred by them.
CHILDREN – Parents are fully liable and responsible for the acts and conduct of their children at all times.
LIABILITY – All facilities are used at your own risk. Our equipment, apparatus and facilities are furnished solely for the convenience of our registered guests. All persons using such do so at their own risk. The management will not be responsible for accidents, injuries or loss of property by fire, theft, wind or acts of God.
